Assessment

ACAC, in connection with the Center for Teaching and Learning has developed rubrics for career curriculum reflecting ACAC outcomes. Rubrics are easily utilized by faculty with a common module and can be differentiated with course/program level outcomes. Rubrics were developed to show learning across scaffolded levels - introduction, development and mastery - as a method to inform teaching/learning tactics at each stage. Many elements of career curriculum closely align with Humboldt baccalaureate learning outcomes/GEAR outcomes, and via this model, could conceivably add to the body of data. Reporting is designed to reflect learning mastery data from each course individually, and will be combined to assess student learning across courses/university.
