Indian Natural Resource Science and Engineering Program(INRSEP) (Walter Warren House 38) (707.826.4994): Provides academic and research support services to historically underrepresented students in the Sciences.

Learning Center Lab (LC Lab): (Library 55) (707.826.5217): Assists in refining strategies and discovering resources, such as: study skills, time management, test anxiety, tutoring, supplemental instruction (SI), Drop-in Math and Science Labs, Writing Center, GWPE Prep, etc.

Individual, free tutoring is now available for over 50 courses. Encourage students to take advantage of this individualized support service.

Learning Support Specialist (Strictly for Academic problems and needs prior approval from advisor) Helps students adapt basic learning skills and techniques in order to stay on track at the university level.

Interlibrary Loan (707.826.4889): Rent out books from other university libraries for free.

Major Department: This is the place that has the most information about a particular major. Students can can schedule appointments with their advisor and explore their major and potential careers. Students can also inquire about major-related events, clubs, or seminars.

RAMP(Retention through Academic Mentoring Program) (Nelson Hall East (NHE) 212) (707.826.5251): Mentoring program that serves first-generation freshman students during their first year at Humboldt.

Skill Shops Workshops and Others (Check Library Skill Shops website or university calendar for locations & times) : 50-minute (or longer) drop-in workshops offered to introduce and develop skills in important areas for student success.
